to the PanIIT Pacific Northwest Chapter, covering the states of Alaska, Idaho, Washington and Oregon In United States and British Columbia in Canada.

Monthly PanIIT Pacific Northwest chapter meetings will be held on third wednesday of every month starting in February 2007. These meetings include opportunity for networking among the alumni as well as presentation of a technical talk by an IIT Alumnus. Further details will be posted soon. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend! In addition, periodic social gettogethers are organized at Seattle and Portland. 

I am personally encouraged by the response and the interest of the fellow alumni in the area to the idea of a common forum for us to work together, as well as the committed encouragement from the Global PanIIT organization and well wishers from Chicago, Toronto, Washington DC, and California. This gives me the hope that we, together, can not only leverage our combined intelligence to set our goals high and accomplish them, but also develop an effective working relationship with our colleagues around the nation and the globe. Our alma mater has given us a wonderful start in our lives and, yes, together, we CAN make a difference.
